Warning! Photography can be highly addictive.
Look at these infinite number of incredibly beautiful images out there. How would I be even able to contribute to what the community does?
So, rest assured, I can hear you loud and clear. I have been there as well, and I was pretty sure - and am - that anything I create won't even remotely touch any stars in the photography heaven.
As it happened last October I finally - after 15 years - decided to pick up a camera again and take the plunge. And boy, taking photos can be as addictive as hell.
Leaving my home without having the camera strapped over my shoulder I do not find easy at all.
To many of you, this might sound strange and unfamiliar as it has to me just half a year back, but that's alright since your mileage may vary.
What matters for me
- Fun - Trust me, raising the camera and taking this shot of people on the street, a colorful wall or a castle up the hill can be a real delight
- The struggle - Have you ever been out in the woods for many hours to shoot and found you have had a far too high ISO all along?
- Progress - If after month' of hard work you come to find your images no longer too bad and even like some of them, that is rewarding and can make you proud
- Mission - Strife to become better, do what you enjoy most but try to push boundaries
Below you will find a short selection of images I took more recently. More will come soon within blog-posts of short stories where an why I chose them for showing off.
I can't wait for you to come back to me with questions and feedback on what your view on photography is.
